Beautiful day

finally getting the rare combination of nice weather and a day off with Kate to enjoy some outside family time.  Today we busted out of the house really early.... like 1030 am.  We headed out to do a little shopping to find Clare a good sun hat which we did.  She got some new sunglasses too.  We have no control when it comes to that kid.  We also made a trip to the thrift and did pretty well.  I got some bike parts.  Clare got a pretty sweet Sesame Street bike helmet that she loves.  It has Bert, Ernie, Elmo, Zoey, and Cookie Monster... no Oscar or Grover sadly.  Love the thrift.  Headed over to Memorial Park after that and enjoyed the playground and the big grassy field.  Clare's a great kid and loves to run like a crazy person in the grass.  She got a little football at thrift so we played with that.  Rosie slept a lot today.  Nice to get some good weather and get outside... makes life a lot easier.  Clare loves to be outside which makes me very happy.  She gets all mad when she has to come inside... pretty cute.  I remember feeling that way as a kid.
